Free Walk-in Assistance

Free walk-in assistance is available with the preparation of Business Tax Returns and West Virginia Personal Income Tax Returns. Taxpayers must provide a copy of their completed current Federal Income Tax return, W-2’s, 1099’s and any other documentation indicating West Virginia withholding before their West Virginia State Tax returns can be completed.

Binding decisions are issued by the West Virginia State Tax Department through Administrative Notices, Technical Assistance Advisories and written tax opinions.
